    CIRCUIT.LTD

All of a sudden this has begun showing up on wife's computer. She does not recall requesting it and seems to just have invited itself to install on her PC. It seems to come and go. Yesterday I found it in her Add/Remove and today it is not there!! She did have it pop up this morning when she was about to open to go to some site. She had to make a choice: yes or no. I yelled in and told her no but then I started to be concerned about it and that is when I checked the Add/Remove in the Control Panel. A check with Google and it seems to be some kind of toolbar--great; we need another toolbar. Anyone come across this item? And her computer specs are the same as mine as shown in my signature. As always, TIA.

    Treat as Malware

Could we be talking about Conduit?

This I have encountered recently.. typically it is installed with some other applications..
I don't have my notes with me so I am short on details..

Essentially you will have had your Search provider hijacked as well as the nice Toolbar.
MBAM seems to skip it and friends in scans..

Sorry I failed to mention on some of the machines I have worked on there have been associated applications installed, the common one here has been a Mapping tool.

Because in each case I have found other nasties.. I would recommend taking Malware precautions.. Even if the application is Circuit and not Conduit, the mode of Operation is Suspect and should be treated as Malicious..

YES, it is Conduit. (I am having a question about one of the circuits in my home and guess that was more prominent in my mind at the time I started the thread.) Thank you und3rtak3r for your correct connection with conduit. And what you described is something like she said showed up on her screen.
Sorry Nick and Shinma for my incorrectness.
