[RESOLVED] Windows Live Mail 2011
Windows Home premium 7. My email program must have been undated or upgraded to Windows Live Mail 2011. This version does not work. Will not open, not responding etc. How do I roll back to my previous email program? (Windows Live Mail, I think) Thanks.

Use system Restore:
Start-All Programs - Accessories- System tools- system Restore
Select a restore point that is from before the problem occurred. you may need to select " Show more restore points"
You problem could be due to a corruption of the data files for Win Live Mail.. if it is the problem will continue after the system restore.
But give that a go first..

I solved the problem by installing the Mozilla Thunderbird email program. Thanks for your reply.

You do not want to recover any eMails that are in the WLM Database? or did TB successfully import it for you?

Thunderbird would not import any emails. I't asked for the folder and I don't know where it's located. Yes, there's some emails I would like to hang on to, mostly from PayPal concerning purchases I've made. Where would I look for the folder containing the emails from WLM 2011. Thanks again.
