    Outlook 2003 question

My sister & brother-in-law have a desktop and a laptop that they want to use outlook 2003 on, they've set outlook to not delete off the server. So that they could have access to all they're emails when they're on vacation.

The problem is that when they check for new emails they get everything on the server. They get copys of what they already have, not just the new emails. Is this normal?
I've never setup outlook to be used on more than one PC. So I'm not much help to them.

Thanks for any and all help
    Rod

Not normal, unless you consider a known issue normal. The hotfix may be needed:

Rodney M--I have no experience at all with your question. But if you have set Outlook to not delete messages, it seems very logical that they are not being deleted and therefore will continue to be downloaded.

They are not supposed to be downloaded more than once though. This is a known and very annoying issue with Outlook. You could try Googling to see if anyone else has another idea that works.
