The very occasional blue screen is nothing to worry about - unless you use ECC memory a bit will get flipped now and then. If it happens with something very critical you can get a blue screen. It is only a matter of concern if it starts happening regularly.
Unless you were using a really cheap and nasty PSU, plugging those drives in the wrong way won't have hurt anything. Decent power supplies have plenty of protection circuitry built in.
