[RESOLVED] Cannot delete files
Hi,
i have a few files on my PC which i cannot get rid off for one reason or another.
The first problem is a .mkv file that i can't delete because its 'currently in use', even if i boot into safe mode. Is there anyway to forcibly remove it?
And secondly i have a few 0kb .mp4 files that have very long names and so it won't delete them as 'the names are too long for the destination folder'. But when i right click on them i only have the options to 'play' or 'open with' so i can't rename them! Any thoughts?
Thanks for the help,
John

Here is virtually everything there is to be known about moving, or removing recalcitrant files or folders:
You cannot delete a file or folder
Or here is a nice utility that can delete files that defy all other attempts:
Move on boot
Or try to delete using Unlocker.
Get it from here http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4660.html
