Virus or not?
I know I posted here a little while back about cleaning off this computer but now I think, somehow, we've gotten a virus? I tried Google-ing a webpage this morning because I wasn't sure of the proper address and every time that I clicked the appropriate link, I got redirected to a different webpage. It's working again now, but that kind of makes me think we have a virus or something on the go here now. Okay, well here are the 2 DDS logs. The computer will only run good for about 10 minutes after it's rebooted and then it freezes and needs to be restarted.. and google will only work when you type www.google.ca into the address bar; if you use the google toolbar thing (we always do) every link you click redirects you to a different webpage.[email protected] \components\PlaySushiFF.dll[email protected] \platform\winnt_x86-msvc\plugins\npmnqmp07074039.dll

STEP 1. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (aka MBAM): http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php to your desktop.(Malwarebytes is free to use as a manual scanner. Sorry, that one log said not to post it but to attach it so that's what I did. I'll know next time though, that posting it is fine.

MBAM didn't find anything so I'm not going to post the log for that. If you still want to see it, let me know and I'll post it. Here are the GMER and MBRCheck logs.http://www.gmer.net

Sorry, I posted this right before I was leaving for work but the computer froze before I got it all posted and then my ride showed up before i got logged on again. I don't know where I left off with the GMER log, so I'm really really sorry but I'm going to attach it instead. But here is the MBR log.

You're infected with a bootkit...Here **Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop** Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed. Close any open browsers. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.Very Important! disable your anti-virus , script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before "unpredictable results" .Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask. NOTE1. Recovery Console NOTE 2. always do so .Close any open browsers. WARNING: Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet as soon as it startsPlease do not attempt to re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished. If there is no internet connection after running Combofix, then restart your computer to restore back your connection. Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
