Cool Keyboard won't let me go to setup

I have WinXP Home (SP3) with a USB keyboard, and when I press DEL it just restarts but won't let me go into setup. What's my problem? Furthermore, when I have to restart in safe mode, I can't get the arrows to move up or down and it just restarts itself as in the past.

Arrgh. I really would like to get into setup. Some things I need to configure.

    Cheers

Do you have another USB keyboard you can try--or--if you have a PS2 port do you have a PS2 keyboard to try. Can you try your keyboard on another computer?

It is possible that you may need to get hold of a PS/2 keyboard to get into the BIOS and enable USB keyboard support This is a nice little Catch 22 that used to affect a lot of mobos at one time.

Legacy USB is not enabled in your BIOS, so you will need to use a ps/2 keyboard so you can access the SET UP and enable it.
Might be a setting for enabling a USB Keyboard or even both.

    Wink Keyboard setup

Okey-doke. I do have a ps/2 adapter for this one but for some reason gave it up.
