    Vista upgrade to Win 7

    have a Vista machine 32 bit from HP ans an going to upgrade to Win 7 via Upgrade disc.
    Can I do the upgrade not connected to the internet and once completed connect to internet for updates?
    The reason I ask whis machine is on ny wireless network and the updates will take forever

    Yes, there is no problem at all with installing Windows while not connected
