Ekk, sorry to waste your time Broni, I marked it as resolve because I couldn't figure out how to delete it. I fixed the problem. I located the file by showing the hidden files, deleted it, then restarted.. same problem. I realized the virus still worked in the trash bin. Backed up the file to a CD I don't use in case it was a needed file, permanently deleted it and it worked. Weird because I did an online scan of that file and got nothing. Malwarebytes was the only program that picked it up out of 40 others. Phew. sorry again for your time
