Seriously, though.....as much as people are used to XP you can only do so much on the basic platform before its architectural limitations become too expensive to modify.
That's what makes Firefox so great, which IE will never be. It's open-source, can be tweaked in 100,000 ways. If you've ever been to mozilazine.org you can see all the variations, even writing your own code to tweak preferences. I have my own theme, my own set of buttons on the top, 30 add-ons, colors that give me better contrast, etc. I've also done away with the invasive plugins and found other substitutes. .
