If NBC is selling DVD's that only contain the "coverage" that they broadcast, then those will be fairly worthless. Unless the price is REALLY low, I wouldn't be interested. If Canadian TV has DVDs at a reasonable price AND they have better coverage, I might be interested in those. Thanks for keeping me updated on this. If you find out any more info on DVD availablilty, I would be interested in hearing about it.

I don't know exactly what's in the NBC videos. Check their site . And I was at CATV.ca only briefly 2 weeks ago. Or maybe olympic.org? I don't know how they divide up the rights to these things.

I think there must have been pro photographers there who made films that they'll offer for sale. `

My Canadian friends will report back to me on what they're selling there. Meanwhile, I found figure skating videos I wanted on Youtube, wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Of course downloading them from Youtube is illegal. In fact, posting them on Youtube is illegal.

NBC is going to be selling 1 DVD with 4 hours of "highlights". This means 3 hours and 45 minutes of hype and worthless interviews, and 15 minutes of 5 second clips of the events.

Here is the info on the CTV DVD set. Unfortunately, it is still nearly all hype. NOt worth the $60 price to me.

Campbell and Swarzenager are very good friends. He was here to help Campbell bankrupt BC, Campbell allowed him to carry the torch as a bonus.

I have been quite pleased with what I can see at this site.

That URL centers on the ceremonies, but you should be able to access quite a few other events.

Yeah, they sent some mounties down to try and do the job but the horses didn't fare too well in the jungle. I imagine that their uniforms were also a bit of a problem.
