My Docs folder within My Docs - Can't Delete
I'm using Vista Home Premium. Somehow and it's happened before, I have My Docs within My Docs which looks to me like I have 2 of the same.
I do have an external drive for back up. I tried to delete the My docs within the main My Docs and it said it was open which it actually is.
How can I delete the extra My Docs folder? I think some desktop folders I create may cause this. I did delete the extra My Docs before and both were deleted. I did a system restore and got back My Docs. Also, I think it has to do with User and "Mike's PC" I see listed in Windows Explorer???
I'll do a current back up tonight on my external and see if I can delete the imbedded My Docs. Any ideas why this is happening?
Thanks,
Mike

mike2rc--If you search on Google or elsewhere, you will find that this is how Windows Vista works (with no reason for why). Just keep the two folders. They harm nothing.

Thanks, I'm backing up on my external now. If I keep that back up all the time or plugged in for scheduled back ups, will it slow down my PC - Intel Duo 2.13 GHz with 2 GB RAM. I should bump that up to 4 GB RAM as long as I'm looking and upgrade to my nVidia 7600.

I onlu connect my USB externals only when I back up. And make sure I use the Safely remove before disconnecting. Why, to prevent lose of what is on the drive.
