Question RDP and multiple monitors on both ends of the connection

Hello everyone. I have an associate who has dual monitors and work and the same at home. He hasn't tried to RDP into work from home, but we're both curious what he should expect with regards to whether or not his dual monitor setup at home will simply mimic his dual monitor setup at the office. I've read up on RDP and multiple monitors but everything I've found talks about if you have dual monitors on one end and a single monitor on the other end. Any thoughts or personal experience that can be shared?

I have duals and connected to a client with duals...It was a non issue on my side- but both of theirs showed as one screen. Everything was pretty small..

You were using just RDP? What version? What OS's were involved?

Food for thought - does the associate of yours go home from time to time? Couldn't he or she turn on their computer and RDP into the office and test the setup?

Thanks for all of the replies. The OS's in use are XP Pro with sp3 on our end. I'm not sure about the person in California who's connecting to the PC in the office here but I could find out. Because I'm unsure about her home PC's OS I'm unsure which version of RDP she has, what service pack her OS is on, etc.
