Emailing large files
Anyway of sending a large file without having any problems.. Tried to send a video (249MB) and it will not do so....... Uverse DSL :-P... Tells me to check my modem.. DUMB...... Everything else I send has NO PROBLEM

249 MB is way too large for virtually all e-mail systems.
Options:
1. Burn to CD and snail mail
2. Find a file reputable file transfer site, upload the file, and e-mail the link and instructions for downloading to the intended recipient.

Snail mail is what I do.
Or once in a while I will upload to my site and send a link to it.

May want to check Gsplit . Has worked very well for me...

You could always create a Dropbox account, and then share the password with your recipient.

I use YouSendIt.com. Upload the file, the intended recipient gets an email and downloads it.
