I've been looking for an inexpensive solution to record VHS tapes & shows I DVR'd from U-Verse and ran acoross this.

I'd like to then copy them to my laptop or burn them to a CD or DVD later, but at least I'd have a method to capture them digitally.

Anybody familiar with this product or anything similar?

I don't want some converter that I'd have to plug my laptop into my DVR / DVD / VHS players. This could stay hooked up and just pop in a Flash media and record.

For $23 it seems like a great deal!
