    What to do with the SATA cables

    I wanted to share what I do with SATA cables in a new build so that it looks more aesthetic then just letting them float around freely in the case.

    All you need is a marker or pen.


    Wrap the cable around the pen like so.


    Slide the pen out...


    And this is the result...

    Excellent/efficient idea. I wuz thinking about sticking my next case's cables to the case walls, et cetera, keeping the cables permanently outta the way. I had custom cables made for my second build and found the cost was easily within reach.

    Curly-ques, eh? Not a bad idea.

    I did the SATA trick. Very cool!

    I just secured a wire that was too close to my HSF with a little piece of duct tape. Never gets so hot in there that tape will melt. I've also used thin plastic tubing to tie off loose wires.
