    Re:Professor teachers software, need help

Hello all, had a XP computer, professor teachers software used to work perfectly, now the mouse will not fully work within this program.

A program window from microsoft appears.

As far as i am aware, i need this:Service Pack 6 for Visual Basic 6.0: Run-Time Redistribution Pack (vbrun60sp6.exe)

    I have windows Vista.

Have downloaded the vbrun60sp6.exe it asks for a destination, cannot find service pack 6 for visual basic anywhere on my Vista Laptop.

Please help, as my wife needs to refresh her past use of it.

    Thanks, all, Gep

Try installing the program using WinXP Compatibility Mode.

    Using Vista Compatibility Mode

Make older programs run in this version of Windows

Sometimes that is the best way to fix it.

Indeed. Or a perfect example of why XP Mode in Windows 7 is so useful sometimes.
