    Re-run HJT and checkmark:
    - R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://rogers.yahoo.com/
    Click "Fix checked" button.
    Exit HJT.

Go Start>Run (Vista users - "Start search"), type in:
    cmd
Click OK (Vista users - hold CTRL, and SHIFT keys, press Enter).

    Command Prompt window will open.
    Type in:
    sc stop "Radialpoint Security Services"
    Press Enter.
Wait for the service to be stopped.

    Type in:
    sc delete "Radialpoint Security Services"
    Press Enter.
    Wait for confirmation.

    Restart computer.

Repeat same set of two commands (sc stop, and sc delete), replacing "Radialpoint Security Services" with "RP_FWS".

    Quotes are important.

    Restart computer.

If it's not running, proceed with the second command, "sc delete"

I did from the root C:

    [SC] DeleteServices SUCCESS

Can I try and delete the directory in Program Files or is it going to start if I open the directory?

Directory is gone already. We removed it with OTM.
Did you run commands for both services?
If so, restart computer and post fresh HJT log.

    Program Files dir...I'll check again

This is now cpt ----> sc stop, and sc delete), replacing "Radialpoint Security Services" with "RP_FWS".

Dir is still there with all the files as before we started.

What about these 2 lines in HijackThis? Should we delete? OR rerun OTM?

Impossible. Look at my reply #13. OTM stated, that folder was successfully removed.

What about these 2 lines in HijackThis?
This is what you ran those command for, to remove those two lines.
Can you give me fresh HJT log?

I just did a right mouse click on Start and that program came up and said "preparing to install"

Rogers Online Protection dir is still there. I know what we saw in OTM.
    Your correct 23 is gone.

Seems that OTM has a bug if the Directory is still there. I guess a DOS move on the directory won't work either. What if I boot up with a boot disk and just come up with a DOS prompt and try and do a C: del dir ......
