Secure software
hi at all
I want to sell my pc to a frend of my but I have many deleted files into that are easly undeleted.
Please what SECURE software can I use to delete them permanently without to format HD and without delete any other installed software that he'll can use?

I use Windows Washer it's about $30. First use they're washer, then use they're Free space washing, just clean/Delete EVEYTHING you want gone and then run Free space washing and at least use the NSA (7 passes option). I'd also defrag and run the Free space washing again.
Don't forget to uninstall window washer before you sell...

This is probably the best freeware wiping utility, IMO:
Eraser
If you use that properly you will make it extremely difficult for anyone to recover the data. But the only absolutely certain way of securing the data on the drive is to physically destroy the platters.

Ccleaner also wipes free space and it's free.
www.ccleaner.com
I use it every day and ran the optional free space wipe as a test recently and it works
well.. no files were recoverable by any of the file recovery progs I tested.
