sfc /scannow ran and all it did was close when it finished.
Never had to use it before so don't know if that is normal?

When I'm through with my current project, I'll end up doing a format and re in stall.
I already know a Repair won't fix it.
I am not going to add a [RESOLVED] to this post in the hopes that someone might come up with something.

Thanks everyone for your help with this!

Going to add [RESOLVED] to this!

Tell you what I had done. Uninstalled Panda Internet Security 2010 to try VIPRE Antivirus + Antispyware. (had heard good things and wanted to try)
It found one thing that Panda hadn't!

I ran it for about a week. Uninstalled and after reinstall of Panda that fixed it.
(And had the error while using Panda)

If it happens again, I'll get a hold of Pandas tech support!

    Thanks
    Rod
