Audio Input options gone in Win 7?
Hi all
When I used to run XP I could record streaming audio in real time in ACID Pro by just picking something like a 'what you hear' recording device option. I've upgraded to Win 7 and all that's under recording devices is two mics and a line in. Can I no longer just record what I hear?!?!
Thanks

Hmm, people on this forum seem to think it's to do with your sound card and not the OS, but it can't be as I had it work on this very PC under XP!

I'm using 64 bit if that makes a difference?

When you upgraded to Windows 7 did you install the correct drivers for your sound or are you using Windows drivers (ugh)?

That's the first thing I'd try too. Also would try using Audacity (free and very good) to at least see if it's a global issue or perhaps ACID isn't completely able to integrate into Win7 (something I've experienced with a few progs I'd used with XP)

Thanks guys!
I'll try Audacity now! The chipset CD etc that came with the PC wouldn't run under Win 7, so I wasn't able to properly install everything - maybe the issue? Thing is, I can't seem to find the drivers for my motherboard online anywhere - it's an A Fox ARS690-M1. The sound is just on-board stuff, no separate card or anything.
