Train, there is more to this puzzle. Wife and I have identical machines and I have her PC setup to install Windows Updates automatically (she would not install them herself even if she knew how and she does not want to know how). I just checked her updates and found that KB9770074 installed on 1-27-10 but first failed to install(earlier in the day?) Also failed to install on 1-26-10
KB976972: Same scenario as above.
Can't help but have a lack of confidence in MS to Update correctly. It seems to me that for something this important MS would be more correct. Guess we have nothing to do except to accept what MS sends down the pike. I install my updates manually
Wonder if others have, or had, the same problems. They may want to check their updates history!!!!
