Well, I'm in the process of running the Hitachi Drive Fitness Test (burning the ISO now), but I think bulging capacitors is the culprit.

Mine haven't burst yet, but 4 of the 6 capacitors next to the CPU are definately domed on top.

Can anyone recommend a good make & model for:
socket 478, with AGP8x, DDR, and IDE support?
I've been looking, but it's harder than I thought to find that combo.
