Computer hardware I would like to see

I meet people who have cell phones that can send email, send attachments, and even browse the internet. I don't know much about this stuff.

What I would like to see become ubiquitous at retail stores such as WalMart, Walgreens, and other retailers is prepaid wireless USB modems. Just like you can buy cheap phones with prepaid minutes, I would like to see cheap wireless USB modems with prepaid mb's.

So I can stop by the Walmart on the way to fix a relative's computer, pick up a prepaid modem for maybe $50 for the modem plus 250mb, plug the modem into the relative's computer, run Windows update and do those 15 or 20 critical updates that are way too big to do on dial-up in the limited time that I will be there. Run out of capacity? Just browse to the vendors site and buy another 250mb.

Yea, that's it. It makes so much sense that it was bound to happen some day. Now like everything else it is expensive at first. I expect it will become cheaper in a couple of years.
