Upgraded to ServicePack 3 and now getting AirPlusCFG.exe - Entry Point not found
I hadn't accepted any MS updates lately, so I went ahead and accepted and instlled Service Pack3, then I rebooted before any further updates.
When it booted, I received these 2 errors:
AirPlusCFG - Entry Point not found
The procedure entry point apsGetInterfaceCount could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll.
and
WZCSLDR2.exe - Entry Point not found
The procedure entry point apsInitialize could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll.
Fortunately, I took a ghost-image backup before the update, so I can restore to a clean version, but what is this and how do I correct or bypass it?

I think I found a possible solution:
Troubleshooting:
Error message in Windows XP after installing Service Pack 3
“WZCSLDR2.exe – Entry Point Not Found”
“AirGCFG.exe-Entry Point Not Found”
If you are getting error messages similar to these please follow the steps below to fix the problem.
Step 1. Click on the Start > Run and
type in ‘msconfig’ (without quote) in
the filed. Click ‘OK’ button.
Step 2. In the System Configuration Utility window, choose the Startup tab
In the Startup Items locate “AirGCFG” and also “WZCSLDR2”. Uncheck both of these items. Press OK.
Step 3. Click Restart button to restart your computer.
Step 4. After the computer restart, you should get the following popup window. Please tick the ‘Don’t show this message’ box and click OK. The error message should stop coming up any more.

Well, I got past that issue following the previous steps, but I'm not comfortable that MS SP3 corrupted what was a very stable PC, and to fix it I had to turn off 2 Startup items (I haven't verified if my wireless card will work not, but I'm going to DL the latest drivers for it before I try again).
It's booting past that issue now, but a new one has cropt up:
Explorer.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application.
When I click OK, I get my wallpaper, but no Icons or tool bars. The only thing I can do is ctrl-alt-del and restart or shut-down, but can't get past it now.

explorer.exe is the operating system (shell) without it you can't do anything... when you get the blank screen do a ctl/alt/del for task manager and then in file>run (new task) type explorer.exe to see if you can get windows running that way.
If it were my computer I'd uninstall sp3 (replace w/older ghost image) and either try again or leave it alone. I'd try once more.

I did the uninstall (fingers crossed) and had good results.

I messed with it awhile, then took the cowards way out and just did a fresh install (this process has become much easier with my Slipstreamed XP SP3 these days!)

Sounds like it may be looking for the install CD. If you still have it put it in the CD drive and start office again.
