User Account Control
Every time I open a program in Windows 7.0 the User Account Control dialog box comes up asking If I want to allow the program to start.
Is it possible to disable this for certain programs?
Thanks
wallie

In a word, no. It can be adjusted but there is no whitelist option. You might look through this article http://www.neowin.net/news/main/09/0...p-with-the-uac By default, UAC on Win 7 comes set on level 3. You might try Level 2 with the knowledge that you will have less protection.

I haven't found much to criticise in Win 7, but the lack of a UAC whitelist is one
Nick.
