What's wrong with Vista and 7?

I just don't get what's the main problem with Vista and 7?

All of the articles say that it's mainly because of the DRM implementation, and consumption of computer's resources.
I had no problem with DRM on my Vista, the OS just seems to slow down my PC alot due to my weak Dual Core Pentium processor and 2 gigs of memory.

And all that talk about someone messing up his Photoshop cracking attempt, plus some kind of sound card jam, and video quality being downed by the OS itself makes no sense. What's up with that?

Why did Microsoft even launch the Windows 7? Why couldn't they had just fixed the Vista up?

I'm confused.
Even thought of moving to Linux/Unix based OS, but got so used to Windows since it was my first OS ever to use.

Its almost like you read one or more articles and didn't give us a chance to read em...You'd have to contact the people that wrote themto get a real answer

Stay legal and it does not bother you.

I had to read the photoshop bit twice, but I can also see why he, the user, got bit.

When the user is the computers worst enemy < shudder >, disasters will happen.
I know they do on my end!!

I've used Linux for a long time progressing up through the distros till Ubuntu came along and I thought: wow! Finally an OS that will give Windows a run for it's money. Not so, Windows 7 came out and I have to say Microsoft got it right this time. It's slick, efficient, easy to use and just plain pretty. I think the people up in Redmond Washington finally started listening to their customers. Either that or Steve sobered up.

The guy who tried to crack Photoshop got exactly what he deserved. i think its funny and pathetic at the same time...crackers and hackers complaining about the tight security on browsers and OS's...
