Norton 2006 is highly outdated. It is unable to provide protection against some of the latest nasties. Plus, the new version runs much lighter on the PC. I urge you to upgrade as soon as you can.
To move to the new version, be sure to have the new version readily available. Then disconnect from the web, uninstall the old version and reboot. Then install the new version. Once it's installed, you can reconnect to the web.

Hi jdc2000..Thank u for the information..It's greatly apprecciated..It seems like, I'm starting to lean more towards buying a new Norton Internet Software program..I think it's probably the best route to go, with regards to someone like me..Thanks again and have a great day jdc2000.
P.S I apologize to everyone, and I don't mean to start up another discussion..However, I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on Avira AntiVir Personal - Free Antivirus , or Avast Home Edition - Free Antivirus..Just curious..Thanks again to everyone.

Both Avast and Antivir are good products. I use Avast on my PC but would have no issue switching to Antivir if I had to.

Update
Update:
I haven't quite figured out what I want to do in regards to the Security Suite, Antivirus thingy, etc. etc..However, I did finally get around to updating the Microsoft IE 6 browser, to the Micorsoft IE 8 browser, on my computer..It's actually not that hard to figure out..Being a newbie with computers, and using Microsoft IE 6 all this time..I was a bit worried, that it would have been a little complicated for someone like me..However, I have to say for a computer newbie..It wasn't as difficult as I had imagined..What a huge difference with my computer's performance with regards to internet browsing, speed, security, and everything else..Don't get me wrong..I'm not saying that my computer is an invincible fortress now from attacks because of Microsft IE 8..I'm just saying that as a computer newbie..What a huge difference from Microsft IE 6, to Microsoft IE 8, for the better of course..Now to figure out what to do in regards to security, and protection..I will keep everyone posted..Thanks again to everyone for their time and patience..Have a great day everyone.

Hello once again to everyone on the Forum..I apologize once again for all the trouble, with regards to my post..I think I have finally made my decision..I just wanted to get some feedback..I've decided to go with Avira AntiVir Personal - Free Antivirus, and Comodo Internet Security - Firewall for my computer..Also just a quick question..I already have SUPERAntispyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on my computer..Will this cause any conflicting issues with the programs Avira, and Comodo..Thanking everyone once again for their time and patience..Have a great day everyone.
