[RESOLVED] External Hard Drive
I have an external hard drive that has an 60 gb file that is a norton back up. I right click on it and click delete and of course it's to big for the recyle bin so it asked if I want to delete it permanently and I click OK but it won't delete. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you try deleting it in safe mode?
Why is your backup so big? If you make a ghost image, it should only contain your system files. Combining OS and data makes the image much larger than it has to be.

I got it done. I increased the size of my recycle bin so it was big enough to handle it. Then I tried to delete it and said I wasn't the administrator but I am and it wouldn't let me do it. So I did a restart and tried again and it went to the recycle bin and I emptied the bin OK and then reset my recycle back to where it was. Long way around but the end is what counts. I was trying out Ghost and then I uninstalled Ghost and wanted to clear the back up from the drive. Thank You for your response and if it didn't work I was going to try your suggestion.
