Everytime you boot, you get a

Found New Hardware.

In the Device Manager

listed with yellow question mark

Raid Controller


She has one harddrive, IDE

Is there any way to stop this from happening?

Either install the drivers or disable the RAID controller in the BIOS. It would help if you could provide more system specs.

I disabled it in the device manager.
It no longer shows the Found New Hardware.

What other system specs would help?

Next time, OS with service pack level would help. It's a Microstar aka MSI motherboard.
