[RESOLVED] Babylon - Unable to reactivate a previous version
I had to reinstall it, ver. 7, which was purchased legally from them.
Did it thru a link provided by them in an email, a result of the above mentioned order.
This brought me to the newest version, 8.
This won't accept the License Code of ver. 7. Understandable.
Tried to contact them since the beginning of Oct., via emails and ph. calls. W/o success, though one call was answered, and a Cust. Serv. lady promised me that the link to ver. 7 will be supplied by her, and to give her 3 minutes.
This was 2 days ago. No link yet.
What can I do?
Is there any way of laying hands of ver. 7?
Thanks,
BDS

You lost me...You started off by saying you reinstalled version 7...then somehow you mentioned version 8...but that you want to activate verion 7 I think???
But odds are - you need to contact them again.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Doc, it doesn't accept or recognize my license... Thank you anyway.

Odds are there is a file or registry entry somewhere that is causing your problem. I'd bet that if you tried to install it on a clean Windows installation, that would work. If you do end up going that route, it would be worthwhile to make an image backup of your system to avoid future issues.

The prob is that the license code (an A/N string) is not recognized in their OWN site. so...
