    AMD athlon 64 3500+ speed shows 1004.57

I have a AST160-UA351H ATHLON 64 3500+ 2gig of ram, the strangest occurrence happened while checking to see if my system could run Call of duty modern warfare at systems web site, it tells you what you need to run
games. Well the long story short, it says I have a 1gig processor which made me shake my head and thought that this is a 3500+ and rated as 2.2 gig, so I started checking using various programs and received the same info. I have a duplicate computer and when tested it registered as 2210 GHZ maintained and steady. Not to familiar with the Athlon 64 but I don't think it should register at this rating. and help and direction would really help me, is it the cpu does it need replacing big ?
    Thanks in advance

Cool'n'Quiet is a CPU speed throttling and power saving technology introduced by AMD with their Athlon 64 processor line.

    2210 GHZ

All kinds of things can make that speed show up.
Bios error, voltage a tad off, reporting program error, sensor, etc. Nothing to worry about.

If you download this neat little utility, you'll be able to see the clock change as Cool & Quiet kicks in:
