    Sloow Boot and Defrag

I have tried everything that I was instructed to do. My computer is still jerky when I'm listening to music or watching a movie.

    Here is my hijack log:

Ok. You need to update the MBA-M reference files as yours are a little out of date. Run a full scan and remove what is found. If anything is found, reboot and rescan with hijackthis.

    Post both logs please.

Here is the updated log for Malware, Spywar and Hijackthis. Also, I forgot to mention that GMER doesn't work. When I open it to scan, the computer has that blue error screen and I have to shut it down. When I tried to use GMER in safe mode, its not able to finish because my computer tends to overheat. What can I do?

Before we go any further, you need to find the cause of the overheating. Take the side cover off the pc and check for dust in and around the processor's heatsink cooling fins. Best way to get rid of any is with compressed air. An artists brush can help otherwise.
This is probably the reason for the jerky music/video.

Ok. Either way, you need to make sure that the vents going in and coming out of the case are clear of dust. It is surprising how much can build up and block the airflow.

Well, I don't have anything that can deliver compressed air, but I try to get rid of the dust.

You know what, I thought this situation happened before. It did a year ago. Maybe it's the manual daylight savings time switch or something. The reason for the jerkiness was the driver was set to IDO, I believe. It's supposed to DMA, I think.

Everything is back to normal. Thanks.
