MFPlay.dll?
I just downloaded the new Yahoo Toolbar version 8. The CA Anti-Spy was included for free.
I ran the scan, and CA Anti-Spy found this file as a Trojan home page hijacker.
I think this file belongs to C:\Windows/Systems32/MFPlay.dll.
Is it safe to keep it?
Thank you

I also ran a scan with SuperAntiSpyware and AntiMalwarebytes. Both did not detect anything.

I HAVE SEVERAL ANTI VIRUS AND ANTI SPY PROGRAMS AND THEY ALL (EXCEPT MCAFEE) SHOW MFPLAY.DLL AS A TROJAN.
WHEN RIGHT CLICKING ON THE FILE AND CHOOSING PROPERTIES, THE INFO SHOWS IT IS 235K AND OWNED BY MICROSOFT.
AS FAR AS KNOWING IF IT IS A PROBLEM OR NOT, I HAVE YET TO DETERMINE.

MFPLAY.DLL - ATI Media File Player Module
Important: Some malware camouflage themselves as mfplay.dll, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder.
