    Windows 7 sharing printer

    I just installed windows 7 .Everything is running great except,My wife is networked to my computer using vista. Now when she trys to print it says the printer is offline. In control panel you can see the shared printer. Any suggestions please

    Also the error when she trys to print is 'RPC server is unavailible"

    Some service is not starting.

    didnt help me here much, again she is logged into the network and can see the printer but when she trys to print still get the rpc error

    Make sure the firewalls enable the other computer to enter.

    On the firewall I changed file and printer sharing to public besides home (private) and still getting the error. Not an expert on what to change in there. Any suggestions of something in those settings I should look for?

    I am not ruling out that maybe it is something gone wrong on her end.

    Did that,Like I said not sure what I am looking for. Dont know what half those services are...

    I would try to figure out this route.
    "The RPC server is unavailable because the service couldn't function properly because it's dependancy (server service) couldn't start... I checked the dependencies through the server's properties and I looked through services and started those required dependancies to start the server service, once that started... Everything functioned properly."

    Hope someone who knows steps in.
