MS "Morro" ... any news?
this past summer, i saw mention of microsoft introducing their own anti-virus software (named "morro" from what i've read) sometime in november or december of this year (2009). i have also seen mention of a "beta" version of this which i presume would be released earlier.
however, no mention of either of these products lately.
i have nod32 expiring next month and will probably install avg in the interim.
has anyone heard the latest news on this morro?
thanks in advance.

zeszut--Perhaps MS Security Essentials. It is Beta and I do not believe you can get it at present from MS. They limited the number of users.

just an update ...
installed with no problems.
everything seems to be working smoothly over the past couple weeks.
of course, i can't remember the last time i GOT a virus .. so i can't comment on it's effectiveness.

I hope that is what you got. It will be interesting to hear if you find conflicts with any other antimalware programs on your PC.
