Exclamation Recover Data with blank screen (Got wet)

I have a Averatec 3700 with windows XP. It got wet this afternoon and the screen does not load. It appears to works internally but just not the screen. I need to some how make a CD of my my documents folder for all of my school work (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and statistics homework) Does anyone know how to navigate blind or know a way to transfer the folder without seeing?

You should be able to remove the harddrive and attach it to another computer via a USB adapter. Like this gadget below. I have one just like it and it sure comes in handy.

Also this link might help you figure out how to open it up:

I think I would try opening it up and trying to use a hair dryer on low to dry it. Yes, Unplug first and remove the battery too.

I think I would also backup the hard drive as stated above by Photo Lady.
I think I would go with this Rosewill Adapter over the Kingwin listed above:

The Reviews are much better on this Rosewill Adapter. I always like to read what other people have said about products before buying them.
