Cannot Connect To Internet
I put together a computer with a P4 3.4GHz processor, WD SATA HD, Windows XP Pro, Radeon HD 3650 video card that came with a CD,Intel D945GTP MB with no installation CD. I went to Intel's site and downloaded files that I hoped were for the MB. I got sound and I'm not sure what else. Buy I coudl not connect to the internet. In the control panel in other devices there were four yellow question marks.
Ethernet Controller
PCI device
PCI Serial Port
USB Device
I am assuming I need the driver for the Ethernet Controller but don't know how to get it. If it is something else any help would be appreciated

While you need the LAN driver, you also need the chipset driver. Here is the place to get both.

Chipset Driver Problems
I downloaded the chipset driver file for the Intel D945GTP board and ran it. It said the files were installed on the computer. Does that mean I have to find the files and then run them? The USB, PCI device and PCI serial port yellow question marks are still there.
Thanks

Yes, I believe on the website it mentioned that you would unpack them and then install from the unpacked files. You should find a setup.exe in there where ever they went. I always make a folder to unpack the files in on my desktop, sure makes it easier to find them.

I did save the file to the desktop as you suggested and then ran the program. It must automatically install the file because it didn't give me a chance to say where to unzip the files to. The bottom line is that it worked!
So, thank you very much!
