Windows Media Player just does what it wants

I am trying to make short audio cd's, but am having many problems. It just does something different all the time. When you are trying to do 300 disk it's almost impossible.It took me 8 hours to do 100. Is there another program that is easier? One cd is 4 min. the other is 12 min. I have to do this every month, and last month it worked better. Please I'm new at this. The dvd Dage kept coming up. It says something about making cd's, but does that mean audio too? I am really stressed out I could sure use your HELP. thanks

A program that's been on Windoze for ages(but mostly forgotten) is the 'sound recorder'. i.e. Start>programs>Accessories>Entertainment>Sound Recorder. Take a look at Drews Tutorial to find all the goodies you can do with it...
