Omit undesired options, malware detector, firewall... and install only the antivirus engine and such...
If I may ... The problem with using this as a solution is that it dilutes the protection these products can give.

So, you lose either way. Install a suite and lose the ability to have a 2nd opinion. Or chop the suite up and lose it's best effectiveness...
