She's a big softy all right. Apparently she's called a "patch tabby" with that coloring.

Fink, why isn't Peanut your avatar any more. Is she OK?

    Sneakers, 16:

(There's nothing on my Picasa page for embedding here. Another Google glitch)

Foxy, who was 17, is my avatar.

Mowergun, is your avatar an early photo of John Carradine?

Sneakers passed on at 16 this spring.

This is Coconut, about 2, who I adopted in April, a very quiet cat, not very interactive, but sweet as sugar.

I can't get these to embed.

foxy, sorry to hear about your loss.

On why picassa won't let you put your image here, I have no idea, but I use flickr or www.photobucket.com to upload photos here. photobucket works great. I've got lots of my photography on their site. I use flickr too but after 200 images they want you to pay them, photobucket isn't like that.

Picasa has a code for embedding, but it doesn't always work.

    I'll look into photobucket.

Yeah, on picasa but I have seen a lot of problems with that one, so at least you're not alone on the problem. Photobucket has several options for embedding photos. I usually use their img tags. You can use either the img one or the http one. If you use the img one all you do is copy and paste. If you use the http one, you need to click on the little yellow icon that looks like a postage stamp (well to me it does), and paste your url in there.

That's the right way to do it anyway. You can't just put a url in here and have the photos show in the window.

I still like photobucket better than any other I've used, including picasa.

Beautiful cat. Is it a female?

I haven't one now, but I'm looking. I would like to have a kitten but a specific breed. They're called Black Forest cats. I had a male at one time and they are very affectionate, so I'd like to find another. If I can find it, I have a photo I could show you'll.

She's female, about 2, from one of the local rescue groups.

I had originally copied a whole embedding code from Picasa, not just a URL, but it didn't work. I might move my albums.
