Vista SP2
I installed SP 2 in my Vista Home Premium SP1 64 bit and did it slow my page loading down, especially Google. I uninstalled it and all was back to normal. Any ideas?

Not really, it didn't make any noticeable difference at all on my rigs when I installed SP2. Give us a rundown of the hardware that you're running on please.

I just got a Hp Pavilion Elite d5200t to replace my old 8 year old computer. It has a Intel(R)Core (TM) 2Quad procQ9550 (2.83GHZ), 8 GBDDR2-800MHz dual channel SD ram, Nvidia GeForce 9600GS, 640 GB 7200 rpm sata 3GB/s hard drive,Creative SoundBlaster X-FI Xtreme audio. Windows Home Premium SP1 64 bit. It sure did slow to a crawl on page opening and like I said especially on Google.

Hmmmm, you certainly shouldn't have any problems with that hardware. But the words "just got" and "HP" make me think that it may be full of junkware, a piece of which may have taken a dislike to SP2. It might be well worth your while to run this:

I ran decrapifier and didn't really have anything. I'd pretty well clean it out by hand. If it's not offered within the next month I can do a manual install. I've been reading and I'm not alone with this problem.
