    lost my network between my two computers

    I took my computer in for repair and lost my network between my two computers, can I set up an ad hoc wireless computer to computer network with homenet or some other network, I have a wireless adapter that worked fine before, but i don't have a security key or passohase, so I can't get connected.?? I know very little aboutthis subject----- bigblojo9
