Routine Virus Scans should be "Quick Scan" or Full?

I typically run full scans DAILY with Malwarebytes, Super AntiSpyware and Norton.

Lately, I found out, at least on Malwarebytes forums, it's not typically necessary to do FULL scans ALL the time, because it's only checking directories of folders where viruses are least likely to be, Ie.... folder you created for your family pics or something like that.

Typically, everytime when I run a scan, I delete an ad tracking cookie I find sometimes, and that's it.

But, is doing QUICKScans enough to do the job, esp if you don't have time for a full 2 hour scan?

I do a quick scan once a week and a full scan once a month with Malwarebytes and a full scan once a month with my a/v (Avast).

I normally only do quick scans. They cover the key areas where the problems crop up in Windows. But if I have any hits, I move to full scans at that point...

If I run it, I run full scan, but I simply leave it on, when I go to bed.
So far, I didn't have any spoiled mornings
