On a side note, I have the same setup on my computer as my daughter. Avira antivirus, and windows firewall. I don't seem to have the problems with spyware that she has. The only difference I can see is she has a dsl modem and I have fios internet which has router protection built in. So I installed the PCTools firewall plus on her computer (After all the scans were done).
