I did this about a year or so ago and got hooked. Even though this is a free version I was offered the upgrade to version 8 (Which was current at the time) for $19.99 which is less than half the price of an outright purchase of the current version. I am currently using version 9.1 and it is great software. I use it for photo editing, screen capture and making custom desktop wallpaper and many other things. Version 9 is fully integrated to send captures and edits directly into Word or PowerPoint with one click. Thanks for the link.

Thanks Broni for the SNAGIT give away link. I have used the free 7.25 for quiet some time and love it also. But to be able to get the full SNAGIT, I'll have to find someone who speaks French. Mother-in-law may be able to interpret enough of it to do what I need. I changed every page I could from French to English. I did get it downloaded and installed but whether it is correctly done remains to be seen. I haven't found the "help" to register it.
