    Runtime Error

I tried to install Antir Home to my old gateway laptop 9300 Pantium 600 Mhz 128 MB RAM 20GB harddisk on Window ME but a window showed-------
" Runtime Error..Prgram C:Windows\TEMP\RARSFXO\Basuc\Setup.EXE...This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in a unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information"
The installation could not be executed. What should I do? Thanks

    Try Avast: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
    It still supports ME.

    On the other hand...
    C:Windows\TEMP\RARSFXO\Basuc\Setup.EXE
No .exe file should be seen in any temporary folder.
I suspect, your computer is infected.

It's not an infection. Somebody tried to install the Blazing Tools Perfect Keylogger, an entirely legitimate app if installed intentionally. You can buy it on the web.

Not only that, many, MANY programs extract themselves to the System Temp folder (yes, that's Windows\Temp for the faux-techs) before they execute, which means that yes, there will be .exe files in the system temp folder.

I'm going to tell you this only once.
You can voice your opinions as much as you want, but if you won't stop insults\name calling\personal comments, you'll be banned from this board, as it happened to you on quiet few others.
One more personal comment to any of my replies, and you're gone.
