[RESOLVED] Installing a new driver for OKI printer
I am running MS Vista and have downloaded from OKI an updated driver for my OKI C3400. This I have unzipped.
But, I cannot make out what I should do next to install the driver I have just downloaded. I am sure it must be simple - but need guidance.
Thank you
Gerald

Go to Control Panel>Printers, then click "Add a printer". Follow the wizard until you come to the list of printers, and click "Have disk". Browse to the folder where you unzipped the files, and follow the wizard from there.

Unless I'm looking at different OKI model,
Driver files should be executable.
Double-click on downloaded file.
Cheers.

Interesting. There was an executable file amongst the unzipped lot, but, licking it produced no visible action!
However, with various work-rounds, I have now managed to install the printer, so - resolved!
Thanks as always for help.
