[RESOLVED] May have a Track Changes Problem I cannot undo
Using XP and Word 2003
While typing, accidentally hit some incorrect keys on my keyboard and suddenly found my typed information in red, underlined, and with strike-throughs. Went to Tools --->Options---->Track Changes and was able to undo the red color, the underlining and strike-throughs. But, I am still getting a balloon (i.e., when I put my pointer on a word, any word, I get a dialogue box that gives my name, date, time, and what I inserted). Also, the delete key on my keyboard is not functioning.
I did a system restore to an earlier date, to no avail.
Now, I have the problem with the balloon and the non-functioning delete key.
Any idea how I can get back to typing without these problems?

A solution, but probably not the solution.
I was able to identify the location in the typed document where the track changes began, including where the ballooning and the non-functioning delete key began. I cut pages before the problem and restarted my document at that point.
Apparently, the formatting/track changes only affected my document after the key strokes and not before.
Wish I had thought of that two hours ago. I still do not know how to undo the changes, but have in effect deleted the changes.
