Why this horizontal scroll bar???

For a particular project I would like to use a Template called Andreas09.

When you open Index.html (3 columns) it has no Horizontal scroll bar at the bottom.
But if you open 2col.html (2 columns), a Horizontal scroll bar appears at the bottom.

Can not figure out why.....
Is there any way I can get rid of this horizontal scroll bar please?

Go in and change the width of the columns.

By changing the width of the columns didn't work.
But when I changed the length of standart link box it worked.
